Common symptoms are:
Witnessed Pauses: Someone else notices you holding your breath during sleep.
Choking/Gasping: Waking up abruptly feeling like you are choking or gasping for air.
Daytime Sleepiness: Feeling constantly unrested, tired or falling asleep during the day.
Snoring: Associated with upper airway airflow restriction due to obstructive sleep apnea.
Morning Symptoms: Waking with a headache, dry mouth, or sore throat. Feeling unrested.
Restless Sleep: Frequent waking or tossing and turning due to low oxygen levels caused by upper airway obstruction.
Increased Nighttime Urination: Known as nocturia. (>1 time without other clear explanation)

The WatchPAT One is a disposable Home Sleep Test designed for a single night of use. This test requires a smartphone with the WatchPAT One app installed, internet access, and a 4-digit PIN that will be provided by Somnocare.

Initiation fee of $60 and a minimum of 3-month subscription is required.
A 10% discount is available for pre-paid semi-annual memberships.An active ResMed Remote Access service is required for continuous CPAP monitoring.

ResMed Remote Access, allows Sleep Physicians to securely monitor and adjust settings on ResMed CPAP, BiPAP and/or ASV devices remotely. It enables sleep physicians to troubleshoot, change pressure/comfort settings, and review data without having to bring your CPAP to the sleep office.
You can verify this by checking for a wireless signal icon on the machine's screen, downloading the myAir app or checking if your machine has a built-in cellular modem, which automatically uploads data. If unsure, please contact your CPAP equipment provider.

No, Somnocare does not accept or bill insurances. We prioritize and serve you, without having to focus on the requirements of insurance and billing. By reducing the financial and time restraints of insurance, Somnocare can commit as much time as needed to provide comprehensive, efficient and personalized sleep care.

FSA/HSA accounts may cover monthly membership services, this may be employer dependent. We recommend you check with your accountant and/or employer to verify.

You may cancel your membership at any time after the 3 month minimum required for membership. The fee of $60 will be again required to restart the membership in a later time.
However, please note that we require 30-day cancellation notice. Membership will continue during this period, and we will continue to provide care through the end of that term. -
